A merging of sustainable and design principles

The project

Pushing the boundaries of design through material innovation is at the base of the Autex Acoustics® x Jeremy Evison collaboration. Through this project, we have embarked on a journey to create a series of sculptures that not only showcase the ReForm’s™ unique properties but also emphasise its sustainable, circular qualities. It is our aim to show that artistic expressions and tangible examples of how sustainable materials can drive creativity and innovation in the design industry. Explore the transformative process behind these sophisticated pieces and the story they tell about the future of sustainable design.

The final Reformed Objects

The final six sculptures are an impactful display of ReForm™ and its design potential, as well as Jeremy Evison’s design skills that help bring this collaboration to life. Each sculpture has a unique story giving an insight into the intent and impact that was looking to be achieved. Learn more about each sculpture below:

Effective collaboration

Throughout the design process, both Autex Acoustics and Jeremy Evison have worked closely to develop these six final sculptures. While exploring new materials is at the core of Autex Acoustics, implementing it in a new context required the expertise of Jeremy’s industrial engineering background.

Leaning on each other’s knowledge, we have been able to display the importance of collaboration in the design community and how impactful it can be when experimenting with new materials. Sharing new ideas and information with each other has allowed us to learn about the potential of not just ReForm, but the way in which we push the boundaries of design as an industry.
